How to use
How to clean, apply, wear and store silicone gel and sheeting — and how long to keep going.
Gel and sheeting work well together — gel by day, sheeting overnight is a common routine. Always follow the instructions for use.
01
Clean and dry
Wash the scar and surrounding skin with mild soap and water, then dry thoroughly. No lotion, oil or make-up residue.
02
Apply the gel
Massage a small amount of gel over the scar in circular motions — a thin layer is enough. Twice daily, or as directed; allow 2–3 minutes to dry.
03
Apply sheeting
Trim the sheet to size, peel off the liner and place the adhesive side on the scar. Wear 12–24 hours a day; rinse with water or cleanser, air-dry and reuse.
04
Stay consistent
Scar care takes time. Use daily for at least 60–90 days; older or more severe scars may need longer.
Cleaning and storing sheeting
- Rinse gently with water or the dedicated cleanser, then air-dry.
- Store on the original liner, away from sunlight and heat.
- Replace when tack drops or the sheet is damaged — lifespan depends on how often you wear it.
