FAQ
Common questions on when to start, daily wear time, timelines, safety and where to buy.
How does MyNewGel work?
100% medical-grade silicone forms a protective film over the scar, helping reduce water loss and moderating collagen activity, so scars tend to flatten, soften and fade.
When can I start?
Once the wound has fully closed and any scab has come off naturally. For surgical incisions, usually about two weeks after suture removal — always follow your surgeon’s advice.
How many hours a day?
At least 12 hours a day; 24 hours is ideal (remove for cleaning). Gel: once or twice daily. Sheeting: remove, rinse and reapply.
How long until I see a change?
Many users notice improvement after 4–8 weeks of consistent use; we suggest staying with it for at least 60–90 days. Individual results vary.
Is it safe?
The formula is built on 100% medical-grade silicone, fragrance-free and preservative-free. Sensitive skin? Patch-test first and follow the instructions for use.
Gel or sheeting?
Gel dries clear and suits mobile or irregular areas such as joints and face. Sheeting gives continuous coverage and light pressure — good for flat areas and overnight, and it is washable.
Where do I buy genuine products?
MyNewGel is sold in Mainland China and Macao, China through the Tmall Global “MYNEWGEL 海外旗舰店” store — check the store name.
